Trade 1 - Lakers trade Wood to the Knicks for two 2nd round picks and a filler player (Arcidiacono).

Knicks do this because of the recent injury to Randle and Wood is probably the best PF they can get on a minimum deal to stay afloat in standings.

Lakers do this to get more trade assets and free up time for Rui.

Trade 2 - Lakers get Olynyk, Jazz get McDermott and one 2nd round pick, Spurs get Gabe, Arcidiacono, and three 2nd round picks.

Spurs do this to get additional draft assets and take on Gabe's 3 year deal. Spurs have a need at PG so they can see if Gabe can return to last year's playoff form.

Jazz do this because Olynyk's deal is expiring and they get an additional 2nd round pick to trade him.

Lakers do this to get a serviceable backup C that can also play next to AD when they go big.
