MN - This trade involves acquiring Fournier and using the team option to create some cap space to re-sign Anderson and/or Morris or sign another free agent. (A backup at PG, a backup center and a shooter wing are all needed). The Wolves salary total after the trade and clearing away Fournier’s contract would stand at 154.6 mil, freeing up around 25 mil under the 2nd apron.

Naz Reid would fill the KAT role, with Stewart as the main back-up big.

Nets - Towns moves back home to Jersey and starts firing in 3s at MSG. Simmons lack of availability weighs this team down but will be a 40 million expiring contract after next season, so the Nets should look to capitalize off that. The Nets’ cap number after this trade is about the same as the Wolves’.

DET - Cam Johnson’s play style and skills should play well with the Pistons fans, and gives the Pistons a savvy scoring veteran big. They have huge amounts of cap space, so I expect they’ll try to add some more vets to hopefully add some wins for this young team.
